Wondering if your seats are together when they are not consecutively numbered? Many theaters split their seating into “left”, “right”, and “center” sections, and they often assign odd numbers to one side and even numbers to the other for organizational purposes. For example, seats 1 and 3, or 23 and 25 would be next to each other on one side, while 2 and 4,  34 and 36 would be next to each other on the opposite side of the theater. The middle/center section tends to be a three-digit number, like 100, and is numbered consecutively, 101-102-103-104.

Limited View seats generally have a partial view of the stage due to the viewing angle in the theatre. Obstructed View seats have a partially blocked view of the stage due to objects such as columns, railings, or sound equipment.

There is no specific dress code. Most people enjoy dressing up to go to the theatre, and some events, such as opening nights, will draw a dressier crowd. For theatrical performances, you will see people in everything from casual to formal wear.

We recommend that you arrive at the venue at a minimum of 45 minutes before the performance to allow plenty of time to park and get seated. Auditorium doors typically open 30 minutes prior to start of the show and may vary on show-by-show basis. Lobby doors generally open 60 minutes prior to show time.

Please arrive on time out of courtesy for the performers and your fellow audience members. Arriving late may result in seating holds in the lobby or alternate seating within the theater. Admission or re-admission of latecomers is ultimately subject to the producers’ discretion and guidelines for each individual show.

Food and drink policies are decided on a show by show basis. Please contact us at XXXX in advance with questions or ask a member of the team when you arrive.

Food and drinks are typically sold in the lobby before shows and during intermission. Food and drinks are allowed inside the theatre at the discretion of the presenter. Updated food and drink policies will be shared with you prior to your performance. If you are already at a performance and want to know if you can take your food and drink inside, an usher can let you know the policy for the show you are attending. Outside food and drink can only be brought into the theatre if required due to a disability, medical requirements and/or special needs. Guests with special dietary needs due to disabilities, medical conditions and/or special needs should contact us by emailing Access@BaltimoreHippodrome.com or calling us at 443.703.2444 prior to attending the event to arrange for reasonable accommodations.

Please note: concessions are now cashless. We ask guests to come prepared to use contactless forms of payment only. All major credit cards and/or mobile pay (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay) are accepted in addition to ordering via the Hippodrome Theatre Mobile App.

In the unlikely event that a performance is canceled, the Hippodrome Theatre and Ticketmaster will inform customers via phone, email, or mail with information regarding the ticketing policy. Ticket holders are encouraged to return to their original point of purchase for more information. In cases of inclement weather, we strongly recommend that patrons travel safely and allow plenty of time to arrive at the theatre. During inclement weather, updates will be posted on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Please email us at Administration@BaltimoreHippodrome.com with details on your performance date & time, contact information, and  item(s) left behind. A member of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.
