The 20th anniversary tour of RENT will be introducing audience members to la vie bohème at Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre from March 31 through April 2. To experience the Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical for yourself, enter the RENT ticket lottery before each performance for a chance to buy a ticket for $25.

Seats in the first row of the orchestra section will be available to lottery winners at $25 each for every performance of RENT. The $25 tickets are available for in-person purchases at The Hippodrome Theatre box office, located at 12 North Eutaw Street, on the day of each performance only, two hours prior to the show. You can enter the lottery starting at 2 ½ hours prior to the performance. The $25 tickets are available for cash only purchases and are limited to two tickets per person. The tradition of the $25 tickets began in 1996 in New York when the show moved to Broadway after a sold-out run in a small downtown theatre. The producers of the show are committed to continuing the tradition of offering orchestra seats for $25 in each city the show will play.

A re-imagining of Puccini's La Bohème, RENT follows an unforgettable year in the lives of seven artists struggling to follow their dreams without selling out. With its inspiring message of joy and hope in the face of fear, this timeless celebration of friendship and creativity reminds us to measure our lives with the only thing that truly matters-love. RENT opened at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre on April 29, 1996, where it ran for 5,123 performances, making it the 11th-longest-running show in Broadway history.
